How Elizabeth became Marilyn...
Elizabeth Edquist is a graduate of NYU Tisch where she majored in Musical Theatre (New Studio on Broadway) and Film & TV Acting (Stonestreet Studios) and is now a professional actor and is an AEA (Actor's Equity) Member.
Since graduating, Elizabeth has spent her time running her Nineteen Time Award Winning Character Entertainment Company, Royal Princess Prep Entertainment.
Elizabeth has always been a huge fan of Marilyn's and spends her free time reading Marilyn biographies, watching her movies, studying her mannerisms and facial expressions, listening to her songs and vocal inflections, and learning as much as she can about the late, great Marilyn Monroe.
Elizabeth spends at least two hours becoming Marilyn - from her makeup and costume, to her demeanor and voice, Elizabeth takes her time to make sure she is fully transformed from head to toe before each and every gig. Elizabeth prides herself on her character integrity, attention to detail, and her voice work.
She is excited and proud to be Long Island & New York's Number One Marilyn Monroe impersonator.
Elizabeth was nominated as Best Celebrity Impersonator on Long Island 2024.
